Cross-cultural media relations and journalist training

Funder: British Embassy Period: January - February 2008 In partnership with MDI, London, we conducted workshops assisting 95 moderate Muslim NGOs to get their voices heard through the media in order to create a balanced perception of Islam.  This included training 55 journalists to recognise the impact of marginalisation and discrimination.  Joint sessions helped build synergy between these two influential groups.
